9/11/01

On September 11, 2001, four American planes were hijacked by terrorists. Two of these planes crashed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and destroyed them and many surrounding buildings. Another collided into the Pentagon while the forth one crashed in Western Pennsylvania . This page is dedicated to all those who have died on board the planes, in the buildings and in rescue operations. This is also dedicated to all the heroes who are helping the country rebuild from its darkest hour. Remember September 11, 2001.

Congress passed a resolution on 9/14/01 to allow the the President "to use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored such organizations or persons, in order to prevent any future acts of international terrorism against the United States by such nations, organizations or persons."

Operation Noble Eagle: the defense of the United States with Naval and Air Power, as well as calling up the Reserves for a possible military responce.

Operation Infinite Justice: tenative name for the build up of forces in the Mid-East as well as any any retaliatory strikes.
